Tracking and Follow-through

Cynthia Tablak develops tracking systems and trains individuals within the departments to effectively utilize the systems. Tracking Systems could be used for Strategic Plans, Operational Plans or Project Plans. Since all Plans move to the Action Plan level, tasks have been identified that must be monitored in some manner. Tracking Systems are simple to maintain but do require some commitment of staffing to do so. This is an excellent tool to shift from reactive organizational “fire fighting” to proactive planning and control. Tracking systems include, at least,

  • Task to be completed
  • Responsible Person
  • Estimated Completion Date
  • Comments to keep informed of progress

Other categories can be included as requested. The systems are designed on a database which allows the organization the ability to manipulate the data as needed.
