Process Reengineering

Process Reengineering refers to streamlining and simplifying systems and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity, as well as to reduce bureaucratic delays. It requires top management leadership and support to ensure that full implementation occurs.

In the process reengineering undertaking, modification to policies, procedures, fiscal management, technology and/or management approaches may be required. As a result of findings, recommendations are made which may include Project Management tools and or Planning as well as procedural or policy development or change.

Process reengineering can be used for smaller or larger projects. In some cases, procedures or systems crossing the entire department may be included. In other instances, only one section of the department may be reviewed, analyzed and have recommendations made for change. Implementation of the recommendations is critical.
