Cynthia Tablak has owned her own Consulting business since 1977. Having received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Berkeley in Criminology, she worked in that field for six years. In 1980 she shifted her focus to private industry where she worked for hi-tech, telecommunications and defense companies in Silicon Valley for 15 years.

In 1995 she came back into local government with a new level of experience gained from working in the private sector. She has been committed to working with the Fire Service, providing Consulting services in Strategic Planning, Team Building, Coaching, Training, Project Management and Project Implementation since 1996.

Cynthia contracts with other Consultants for specialized courses or special events, as needed but is the primary Consultant for all contracts.

She is also a Public Speaker, offering workshops and keynote speeches throughout the state. Some of her engagements include:
